被雾霾搞得有点厌倦，因为眼睛和鼻子都是酸酸的。偶然找到了这首歌，听上去一副烦躁又疲惫的样子，觉得调调很对——虽然是周一，可已经感觉像是好几天没有休息过了。
这首歌旧旧的，土土的，给它设定一个场景特别容易——比如黯淡无光的放空的下午，打开了一个不知名的专放90年代音乐的怀旧调频。歌手叫做Phil Campbell, 如此无名以至于在谷歌里，只能搜出一个同名的著名音乐人——鞭笞金属乐队Motorhead的吉他手。不过了不起的吉他英雄来自威尔士，而这个人来自苏格兰格拉斯哥，效力过一支叫做White Buffalo的民谣摇滚乐队。也许这个乐队还没解散，但就网上少的可怜的信息而言，实在是判断不出来。
Phil的自我介绍中称自己“喜欢Tom Waits和Neil Young，从不喜欢爵士乐”。为数不多的评论说他听上去像David Gray, 不过就这首"Love Me Tonight"而言，听上去像是Gary Moore和Gavin Rossdale之间取了平均值。虽然人声的气质非常的沮丧，可编曲却一招一式不打折扣——那有张有弛的合成器弦乐，层层推进的结构，完全是中等偏上的水准，就像是看到了一个其貌不扬的男人，你却轻易地从衣袖推断出他殷实的家境。
而这个男人在乞求得到爱得垂青。“我知道你说的每一个字都不能信/但今晚宝贝你能否可怜可怜我”。你又能说什么呢。
